This scarf was knit in March for a friends mom. She picked the colors and I made up a pattern to placate my designer side :). This design allows for a very dense scarf that can cover more area when stretched out, and then you get to see the openwork peek through! The body (or cream colored yarn in this case) is the inverse of the border pattern. If you like you can work the whole scarf in either the border or the body pattern if desired. The changing of the pattern on the ends adds a little extra something. :)
